Predator In Maryland Used Hidden Camera To Film Underage Girls In His Bathroom, Feds Say

A predator in Maryland will spend more than a decade in prison after admitting to using a hidden camera in his bathroom to peep on underage girls.

Charles Wheat III, 38, pleaded guilty in federal court to producing sexually explicit images of at least five minors while they used the bathroom in his Bel Air home, authorities announced.

According to the plea, between April and November 2020, What used the hidden camera to produce sexually explicit imagery of five girls who used a bathroom in his home, while also cooperating with sex traffickers in the Philippines who he paid for videos of minors being sexually exploited.

Prosecutors say that Wheat shared images from his bathroom to two Filipino women, one of whom was also depicted in several videos found on Wheat’s phone engaged in sexual conduct with a prepubescent boy.

Some of the content also showed a prepubescent girl who the woman encouraged to have sex with the underage boy.

When he is sentenced in January, Wheat will face a mandatory minimum of 15 years in prison and a max term of 30 years for the production of child pornography.

The judge also ordered that when he is released, What will also be required to register as a sexual offender wherever he works, resides, or studies.
